Acne removal with Photoshop

I was practising using Photoshop when I came across this photo and decided try my hand at removing acne.

I altered the colour channels to reduce redness. Then used the spot healing and clone tool to remove the spots and imperfections. Finally I used a Gaussian blur and then applied a mask so I could use the blur on desired parts of the face. This smoothed the skin that I had removed the acne from and made the skin more even looking.

Caracas Coffee

This is my finished logo for a logo design assignment. We were required to create a logo for a fictional Dublin coffee company. They have two coffee shops in Dublin and roast their own beans. The have a strong connection to South America and Venezuela as their name suggests. The sought a logo which represented this connection and emphasised the colourful and vibrant culture of the country.
